Hatcher Pass Bouldering Guide

The new Hatcher Pass Bouldering Guide will be the first ever bouldering guidebook dedicated to Hatcher Pass, Alaska's premier bouldering destination. Some of these boulders were published in the Alaska Bouldering Guide (2013) but there were just around 400 problems included for Hatcher in that guidebook. This new guidebook has around 1300 with many new areas and boulders!

vertical nights

poems & other things

Vertical Nights is a choose your own adventure poem book. What does that mean? There are multiple paths to take through the book and three different endings. At the end of each poem there are two directions you can go, with cues as to what the next poem may be. It is meant to allow the user to have more control over their experience and the emotions that they produce.

mixed
identity

Mixed Identity is Kelsey's fourth poetry collection and combines his past with future events and new discoveries in race and identity. Highlighting exploration in the wake of events such as the Black Lives Matter movement, and the effect of these realizations on the psyche of a mixed-race adult in modern America, his revelations are connected by poems of loss and hope.

FOUND WANDERING

Found Wandering is 215 pages of poems and writings that came about through the slow discovery of an ability to put words to paper. They are broken up into four categories: spirit, dark, light and nature. Each category contains different writings that I wrote over the last eight years. It’s hard to recommend where to start first because each poem is written during a specific moment to reflect the feelings and emotions of that time. How will you be affected? It’s hard to say but I hope that everyone is able to find something in this book that they are able to resonate with.

The Roadside Angler's Guide

Dedicated to Alaska’s wonderful road accessible fisheries, The Roadside Angler’s Guide is an incredibly valuable source of information for those seeking to know the details of where to go, when to go there, what to catch, and how to do it.

Kelsey Gray was the designer of The Roadside Angler’s Guide, released in 2016. This four year project was written and compiled by Gunnar Pedersen, year-round Alaska resident and author of four fishing books and co-author of a fifth, an avid outdoorsman, and former fishing guide.

The Roadside Angler’s Guide is a representation of well over three decades worth of gathering data and information on fishing opportunities on the road system in this great state. In addition, the book is very visually oriented and pleasing through its exceptional design format and the abundant use of color.
