Mixed Identity is Kelsey's fourth poetry collection and combines his past with future events and new discoveries in race and identity. Highlighting exploration in the wake of events such as the Black Lives Matter movement, and the effect of these realizations on the psyche of a mixed-race adult in modern America, his revelations are connected by poems of loss and hope.
